Q&A

Why did you choose Concordia University?

BM: I didn't want to go too far away from everybody. At Concordia they were all friendly and accepting. I loved the school and how it's compact. The field's right there and I can go from my dorm to the field. And [former teammate] Matt [Lyons] is another big reason.

What is your favorite part about football?

BM: I love everything about football. I love the crowd, I love playing, I love hitting people and getting hit by people. It's just about power and you've got to be smart and physical.

What will you miss most about high school sports?

BM: I'll miss the fans and the brotherhood that I'm going to leave behind. I'm going to miss the field...and everybody here, all of the coaches and teachers.

What do you plan to study?

BM: I want to be a nurse so I'm going to try to earn my BSN.
